So lets say you are promoted to a new upper management position at work and in the first year you start to get complaints from customers about your staff. Instead of backing your employees and trusting the findings of your own junior management team you very publicly agree with the complaints and tell the people complaining that your family has the same issues with your employees. You even go so far as to tell the media that you have spoken to your own children and told them to expect problems anytime they come to your store and interact with your employees. It doesnt take to long before your workers hear that you have publicly told the world they are bad people. Would you be surprised when you walk in a room or attempt to talk to your people they stop listening and turn their backs on you? What do you think that would look like? youtu.be/CqrZp-4McCY or youtu.be/CJUy_S8UUfY Could you possibly earn the trust back from your crew? Would you, for the good of your customers, for the good your company, and LASTLY for the good of your employees, resign your position? Emphasis on lastly as it is obvious your employees are your last concern. Before people get angry and send me death threats this is an analogy. If you dont know what that means I looked it up for you...
