So many heavy hearts in Sligo today Patrice Foley :(. Hard to know how many different ways youll be remembered and missed by so many...your devotion to your adored mum and dad, no parent should have to go through this heartbreak twice, dont worry, I have the candle lit for Annie & Padraig and you all... as an amazing mother to Saoirse & Odhrán, your pride and joy and greatest testament to your life...your true love for Rory, even though you did pretend to throw your eyes up at his antics, it was obvious to all you were fortunate to marry your best friend and you couldnt help but laugh at him and with him...memories of outside the Aviva last year :)...so much laughter....and your pride and thankfulness in each other was amazing to see...your friendship & love for your brothers and sister, including sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, you were a friend to all...your bravery and determination & spirit to fight the disease that would cruelly take you too soon from them at only 32...your gratitude every day for the love and blessings you had in your life and your attitude to adversity....your mad nights out with so many friends, and thankfully you had the courage and confidence to live well every day of your short life, and to enjoy every minute, and yes I will be raising a glass to you on next night out this Christmas :) because I know thats how youd like to be remembered....your kindness & uplifting words to me personally in the worst week of my life in that hospital when your dad happened to be in the same time as mum....and finally your devotion to your beloved bit o red...you were no sunshine supporter kid!! ;). From a child, you were sweet, funny, kind & generous of heart, and you never changed as you grew up. Say hi to Malcolm, and my own crew, and keep smiling that beautiful smile as you watch over your heartbroken family and friends. Rest easy pet, you lived it to the full and you will be sorely missed and well try to forgive God for the unfairness of it all, and remember what a privilege it was to know you xx
