So many of these images are warmly familiar to me, particularly the corner milk bar that were the signature of every suburban block. These old (usually immigrant) family businesss have been replaced by a 7-11, staffed by young Indians and Pakistanis on 4-5-7 visas. Thanks Victoria for sharing this with me, its prompted me to point my cameras eye at some of the old, fast disappearing landmarks that still grace my own personal urban environment.
