So many people on Twitter get in touch with me each day asking for advice on how to progress within the acting industry. To be honest Im so grateful that people even think of me to ask such a thing. One of the things I truly believe is to stay active and make your own work. You may not be able to write scripts (I know Im no script writer) but you can gain inspiration from other productions that are already out there. Here is something I put together using a DSLR Camera, a couple of LED Lights, a makeup artist and a friend to stand in as my scene partner. I brought in a director I work with on other projects and edited it myself. Using this method will ensure you build a quality showreel and keep costs down. Just ensure that if you recreate something from an already made production, that its not immediately recognisable and that you put your own style into the character
