So many people see their brokeness as a sign of weakness and they try to hide it; I used to do that myself. But then I had this revelation that God is not afraid of my brokeness! Infact He loves it, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. (Psalm 51:17 ESV) I realize that its said of David that he was a man after Gods own heart and he had a broken and contrite heart. God is searching for those people that isnt afraid of their brokeness because thats a heart that realizes without God their nothing. The apostle Paul says i delight in my weakness for in my weakness i am made strong! When we think were strong on our own its pride and were about ready to fall because God cant get involved in that. But when we delight in our weakness it allows God to come and give us his strength which empowers us to do the very thing that we couldnt do before. Its all about coming to the end of ourself, and yielding to Him. So lets continue to stay humble and yield to God! #humble #brokenandcontrite #weakonmyown #strongwithGod!
