So many people think that just because I eat healthy means that I spend all of my time in the kitchen and planning out my meals. Truth is, it takes me about 20 minutes to sit down and figure out my meals for an entire week. Then, throughout the week I have no worries about what I am going to eat. I take all of my weekly plans into consideration when planning and am also prepared wherever I go. I don’t find myself grabbing something that is high in sugar, fat, sodium, or calories because I’m starving. In fact, I’m never “starving!” That’s what is great about learning what and how to eat 5 to 6 small meals per day. I have successfully made a lifestyle change that I am completely happy with. I do not shrug my shoulders and make those “I deserve that bag of chips” comments anymore. I know we are all busy, but sometimes it is important to give ourselves some love too, right?
