So many to thank for last nights TRIP 101. Tim Hooper, Ralph Solly, Chris Gale, Sean Hunt, Daft Punk, The Record and Tape Exchange, Mancuso, James Hamilton, Froggy, Southern Soulers generally. It has long since been in my mind to get back into Glitzy Disco, and if I had the time and the location, then a local scene could easily kick back in again. To me it was over 5 hours of pure joy, even though some of the lesser known tunes may not have been known, the vibe, even without a dancefloor, especially at peak packed time, 10.30, was just amazing. Thanks also to everyone, who came over for a chat, and for their comments. I do it again on the last saturday this month, and just hope I can make up my mind about a few more tunes to play at Sub 89, in October (at least three selected from last night !)
