So much to report from a very productive GA meeting, plus we have some Anderson-specific announcements. First and foremost, your Hall Council wants to meet you. Well be having a tabling event this Sunday, Oct. 19th from 10-4. Take this opportunity to ask us questions whether they be RHA-related or not. Secondly, if youre available, see Academy Award and Golden Globe winning-actress Geena Davis at Bender Arena this Saturday. There are posters in your respective lounges with more information. If youre looking for some good food then go to the AU vs Army mens soccer game at 1 this Saturday. There will be a barbecue sponsored by RHA. We have some updates on the cool/heat switchover. The RAs will be conducting these switchovers and room checks between Oct. 25th and Oct. 27th. Please be sure to consult housing policies to make sure all appliances in your room are acceptable. Now onto the resolutions passed tonight. Our first resolution was passed 33-1-9 and mandated that all GA members are to complete the Step-Up bystander program within three months of being sworn in. We would encourage all others interested to join us for this one-time one hour long training session. Our second resolution was passed 26-12-4 and concerns budget transparency. Students pay $14 to RHA per semester as part of tuition and we feel it is important for students to see where that money is going. So, as of now, we are in the process of making the budget available to students via our website. Thanks and have a great night!!!
