So my Beachwood check this year will be paying for my new phone. - TopicsExpress

So my Beachwood check this year will be paying for my new phone. After two years and a recently cracked screen I decided to retire my Galaxy Nexus and replace it with a Huawei Ascend Mate 2. 6.1 phablet which is bigger than the Galaxy Note 3 but half the price. It does have some value end specs, like a Snapdragon 400 chipset (versus the Note 3s Snapdragon 800). Coincidentally thats the same chipset in the Moto G and its quite a peppy little guy for the price. 2GB RAM. 720p screen, and battery life thats rated the absolute best anyone has seen sofar... thanks to a 4050mah battery. I was hoping to hold out for a OnePlus One.... but I got tired of waiting for an invite and meanwhile slicing my fingers on the cracked screen of my Galaxy Nexus. The Huawei also features 4G LTE support on all bands, a 13mp rear camera with sony image sensor. a wide angle front facing 5mp camera, and reverse charging meaning you can use the phone to charge another phone or USB device.
