So, my first cos-issue is the one that started my recent topic. Racism. we talked about it recently, care of a cosplayers make-up test for a Walking Dead character, who is black, the cosplayer was white. They made a very detailed representation. Obviously a huge backlash came. My view on darkening your skin is one of common sense. Id never make myself a dark colour, no need and yes, Id find that racist. In the comments, im going to post makeup ive done of ethnic characters I have done, Arabic, Greek, native america, asian and black. Am I racist? I dont think so. I dont have racist views, I dont think im better than anyone, regardless of gender, or race. In my opinion, when I cosplay, I cosplay a character, not a race. If i decide to make myself look tanned, I do it to feel more like that character. Im really interested in hearing your opinion. Please remember that its a debate, no need to be personal with each other.
