So...my good friend Rachel Albert challenged me to take the #ALSIceBucketChallenge. What is the Challenge? 1. You are nominated to complete the challenge by someone who has just completed it themselves. 2. You have 24 hours to complete the challenge AND donate $10 or $20 (or as much as youd like) to the fight against ALS/Lou Gehrigs Disease. I believe that this challenge was started by some Boston athletes to help one of their own, Pete Frates, the former Boston College baseball captain who is battling the disease. petefrates/contribute.html 3. If you are unable to complete the challenge, you donate $50 or $100 to the charity. 4. The amount of the donations varies. The most common is $10 if you complete it, $100 if you do not. 5. If you complete the challenge, upload the video of you completing it to Facebook and nominate 5 more individuals to take the challenge. Now...Rachel challenged me on Friday...I wasnt able to complete the challenge within 24 hours...I did it on Sunday, so Im going to donate $100 for not getting it done in time. That being said...my nominees are: Michael Nathanson...Efren Hidalgo...Damon Pickard via Lesley Pickard...Jason Gould and Adam Grant. Have fun guys...its for a good cause! :-) (BTW...I LOVE that Mikey is doing cartwheels while hes waiting to do his part...could he be ANY cuter?!?!?)
