So, my husband tried to surprise me yesterday....and boy did he ever, but not the way he wanted to! After the Mack shoot I came home to my door being kicked in, the police inside my home, the fire trucks just leaving, my home being wrecked and all of the neighbors looking at me full of pity as I walked up the sidewalk...All my poor husband could do was look at me and say, surprise! I didnt have to go to work today :-) (His plan was to surprise me with dinner: steak, new potatoes, green beans, and salad...We got two of the burners on our stove replaced last week and they must be faulty, because when you turn on the oven, the new burners get hot. He took the potatoes out of the oven and placed the casserole dish on top of the stove (with everything off) covered the dish and left to go to the store to get me some flowers. The burner overheated and made the casserole dish explode, setting off the smoke detector, contacting the fire department and so on....geesh! The kicked in the door, went through looking for victims....I could go on and on.. Luckily, nothing caught on fire, but my home still stinks!! We ate the pizza I brought home, got the door semi-fixed for the night and went to bed...Gotta love him :-)
