So my poor broodmare put a leg through the only stretch of field fencing in her paddock and ripped her leg up pretty good this morning. Thank goodness Tina was leaving for Arizona this morning and just happened to pull in right after it happened. She is ok, but it ripped a pretty good chunk of skin and flesh back to the tendon and bone. Nothing a $500 vet bill couldnt fix, ugh. She isnt wild about being handled on her legs, doesnt kick or anything just scared and yanks away. But she really did well and was quite the trooper about it. Love my little Whiskey Girl, makes you so sad to see them hurt.
