So, my very first season as a baseball fan in 1971, the San Francisco Giants lost in the NLCS to the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-1. They only played three games in those days. I was disappointed, but I rooted for the Pirates in the World Series. They beat the Baltimore Orioles 4-3. I have always liked the Pirates, and I love the town of Pittsburgh. Im happy their luck has changed. Those poor fans have suffered for so long. Having said that, I am very happy that I will have something fun do to this October while I am on vacation. I take every October off from work, just in case, and this year we will go to the playoffs again. Good luck to all the teams involved. Play hard, play fair and play with honor. Go GIANTS!!!
