So on the heels of my Okie man encounter, this delight: at Barnes & Noble, strolling amongst the Scrabble and chess players, a young man I used to know in AA well armed with what appeared to be a Glock 9 mm semiautomatic pistol. Book readers must be a dangerous lot to require all that firepower. Also, I *know* this guy well enough to tell you that I, with 17 years of working directly with hostile, angry, often criminal, and dangerous folks, am quite alarmed at the thought of him with a gun anywhere, let alone in a public place. #GoddessSaveUs
