So our goodies are going to all the places we havent visited yet. They first went to the U.S, then Canada, then Singapore, and now Tokyo. Before you ask, we are still a no export company - our goodies travel courtesy the lovely lovely supporters of what we do : in their personal luggage, as they make their way to exotic lands. We made up this box for a lovely soul who wanted to try out all our skin goodies. Its pretty cool this is happening, because the adzuki beans we use in our skin goodies, was first cultivated in Japan, and then found its way through travellers to the eastern Himalayan belt, where it has now been happily adopted for hundreds of years, and become its own Indian version. The Himalayan adzuki bean looks slightly different from its Japanese counterpart: for one, it is multicoloured, so our skin goodies use lovely jewel toned red, brown and green adzuki beans. But its skin nourishing properties , similar to its Japanese counterpart, are outstanding. We use it extensively across our skin formulations . Our partner for Adzuki beans and many other ingredients is Sos Organics, run by Amrita Chengappa and Santosh. The grains and herbs we source from them are all heirloom varieties, hand processed, follow strong fair trade principles, and are completely rain fed and not irrigated. Adzuki bean is the main cleansing grain used in our Kids body wash. Our Kids body wash packs a whole lot of goodness into each pack harnessing the nourishment of our grains (Adzuki and Mung) and our aromatics (nut grass, vetiver and lemongrass). We also add beautiful, green, Moringa leaf powder, and heirloom fenugreek to the mix . This combination makes it super moisturizing and soothing on delicate skin. We use our Kids body wash everyday to bathe our daughter , Maya, and she (as do our lovely Kiddie volunteer panel), loves the experience.
