So over the past 10 days or so, it seems there have been two major catch phrases and one theme that have been omnipresent in my mind. They are all related to my work and personal life so let me start by saying absolutely none of the following is the opinion of my boss or my employer. Of course, there is no need to say this because this IS my personal Facebook page. On a professional and personal level I am held accountable by the opinions and suggestions of people I have great respect for. I work hard to surround myself with highly successful people and people who enjoy a deep and profound inner peace and happiness. Why do I want these people around me? Because these are the goals I aspire to enjoy in my life. So lets get down to the two major catch phrases and one theme. The theme is transparency. My life is an open book. I hide nothing. If you want to know something about me, ask me. If you want my opinion on something ask me, but be sure you prepared to hear it. Lastly, regarding transparency, if you think you can offer your opinion in a public forum about me, without me having some sort of response to it, you are gravely mistaken. Enough about transparency, lets get on with the two catch phrases. Liability and branding. Its been said recently that I am a liability professionally because of the off color humor and photos I post here on my PERSONAL Facebook page. This is the opinion of a couple, when in fact most people who friend me is because they know me and share my same sense of humor. To the holier than thou Christian lady that works with a title company (who works hard to align themselves with our office) and is sleeping with a Broker associate in our office, thank you for your opinion about a photo I posted. I am sorry you were so appalled (rolling my eyes). I see you were not so appalled by it that after you called our broker, the guy your sleeping with, to tell on me that you have not un-friended me. You might as well, you will never see any of my business. To the Broker associate who is mentioned above, whom I am positive will be told about this post - come talk to me at any time, my door is always open. To the pot stirring buyers agent with a local real estate team in a small local boutique brokerage. I understand that after being a hurricane of delusion for a half of dozen or more clients, agents, etc.. (many of which I have personally spoken too and who will not only never do business with you but have said they will go out of their way to steer business away from you) - you my dear are new in the business and sadly but quickly going to learn the real estate is a small small community. Its my understanding that you also feel I am a liability (now that is a rich laugh) and have said other disparaging things about me. Thank you for the free publicity, make sure you spell my name right. It is K-E-V-I-N D-A-Y. Okay, we have covered transparency and liability, lets touch on branding. To the real estate team leader I am speaking of above that just yesterday has said to a local broker that we wanted you and your team to come join our office because we needed help with branding. First of all, branding had nothing to do with it. You can go almost anywhere in the world and say RE/MAX and people will know who you are talking about. If you are 100 miles outside of Dallas, I would give you $100 to find one in one hundred people who had ever heard of your company. If you thought it was our office in particular that needed help branding, oh no. We are doing great and only wanted you due to the amount of business you do. As we got to know you better, and saw how you branded yourself with the likes of the insane buyers agent above we are happier then ever not to have branded and aligned ourselves with your team. These are just my opinions, based on facts presented to me, after a long hard week. No ones names or companies names were used. If you think I am talking about you, you might be right or you may be paranoid and think the world revolves around you. Put a little butter on it. Ill be okay.
