So profound and wonderful knowledge and wisdom from a beautiful Woman of God. Spoken from the heart right to the heart of the matter. I find myself embracing every word spoken/written in this book. She captured, I felt, the trueness in the terrible wounds that were inflicted between Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar that didnt just effect them but Ishmel and Isaac. I saw myself within the pages as not just the wounded but also as the wounder. Its so hard to bring to the surface my own sin when I cant step out of the past long enough to let go of that to which wounded me. I want those that hurt me to hurt as bad as I do so I lash back. But what she helped me to see was every time I do that I place another wound upon Christs body. I then become the wounder. Im so very sorry Father for what I have done. Thank you for placing Ann Graham Lottss book right in front of me. I pray Father that this book continue to touch and change lives of all those around me and if any of them have been wounded by me, that they would accept my apology as I start forgiving those that have wounded me. Thank you for allowing me to see what I had been doing and for loving me enough to reach my heart through this amazing story.
