So proud of daughter Julie who is the president of the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation in Houston. Yesterday we attended the kickoff of the Houston literacy initiative. Last night we attended a twenty year celebration of Mrs. bushs reading initiative. Charlie and I were honored to meet, and hug, Former president George H. W. Bush, Mrs. Bush, their son Neil and his wife Maria along with many other family members. Four authors delivered short renditions from some of the best selling books they have written, Eric Blehm for Fearless, John Grisham for A Time to Kill, Walter Isaacson for Steve Jobs and Christina Baker Kline for Orphan Train. Truly blessed with three wonderful children.
