So remember that big exciting news Ive been hinting about? Well its time to spill the beans : ) Littlesweet Baking is moving out of home and into a kitchen! But not just any old commercial kitchen. Ill be running the kitchen in a new venture to be called Puck Espresso Bar in Bicton (just near Fresh Provisions) so while I wont have be running the whole cafe (Ive never wanted to have to run a whole cafe while my family is still so young) I will be baking again and the food side will be littlesweet products. I know - amazingly awesome set up for me right? Weve designed an open working kitchen so youll get to see and smell and buy fresh baked awesomeness all day (and probably every day). Meanwhile Ill also use the kitchen for other Littlesweet stuff like my workshops and my packaged products. This plan has been kind of years in the making. My good friend Garrett is behind the new business and knows his coffee (he formally created Blink and Pony Expresso). He just doesnt love doing food. Me - I love doing food but dont want to have to be in a shop 7 days a week making coffee. Its the perfect partnership! Weve been looking for a place for ages and are finally really close to it all happening. Plans are all drawn up, lease is signed and as soon as council approval comes through we begin building and fitting it out. Our optimistic but slightly realistic hope is to be in before the end of November so maybe send a pray to the Patron Saint of council approvals for us : ) And that my friends is why Im expecting things to get a bit crazy town in my world come the end of year. Exciting though right? Ill be baking again!!
