So sad my father is not around to see his granddaughter, however he is with us in spirit.. Named after my Aunt Aunnunziata means announced in Italian, referring to the event in the New Testament in which the angel Gabriel tells the Virgin Mary of the imminent birth of Jesus. The day of her birth my uncle Al Branca, 86 passed away, Al was the youngest child of My grandparents John and Katherine Brance who had 17 children in their family, all were amazing people.. Now leaving my Uncle Ralph, Big 13 Professional Baseball Brooklyn Dodger icon as the last member of the Branca clan that is alive. I am so said that my Uncle Al had to pass on the day my daughter was born. November 26, 2014 at the age of 86. What make me so sad is my father John R. Branca who passes away four years ago in my arms will not have the Earthly pleasure of seeing his Granddaughter. My father was an amazing man. and through my daughter I will keep his light shining. My fathers cell phone message, I keep this close to my heart and will do right for my daughter. The love and respect I had for my father was no of this earth, he was the saint and the best role model. I know my father was with little Nunzia as her sole entered her little body as she took her first breath. I also, know my dad is one of her guardian angels!
