So...sigh. Were going to do what we said we wouldnt do. We tow our hybrid trailer with a our 2013 Toyota Highlander. It does have the full factory installed tow package, its rated for 5000 lbs, and we have the anti-sway bars and electric brake switch. We told everyone wed never get a bigger trailer because it would mean a bigger vehicle to tow it. Ah well. We just dont feel the Highlander has what it really takes to tow that trailer and we dont feel real secure. So well be looking for a big vehicle, probably a V8 Chevy Suburban, used, to tow the trailer. Well keep the Highlander as the pretty car and not tear it up with the stress of towing. Wondering who else has found that one purchase has led to another purchase.......
