So someone posted a link to an article blasting people for these no makeup selfies. I dont know who wrote the article but I want to say something to them. I AM a cancer survivor. I have a scar from my ear down to my collar bone to prove it. Why did I post a selfie? Because I want people to see what it can be after cancer hell. That the beauty these women are thinking theyve lost forever is simply hidden under the baldness, the weight loss, the hollowness and fear and helplessness in their eyes! It will rise again! There will be a day when you will look in the mirror again and see your beauty and healthy glow! Im proud of everyone of you who set aside your pride and did what you can for awareness.
