So thankful no snow today as predicted last week we would have double digits. The day we had memas 90th gathering was a great day (2/9/14), but as everyone was leaving around 3pm it was snowing heavier. Anyone who knows are hill knows where I am going with this! We ended up going up the street and having to back down the hill after almost making it up. We tried probably 8 times and the van just wouldnt go? So we stayed at the Sunoco mini mart waiting for the plow trucks, well they had no intentions of plowing. I called my aunt Sharon Stine house cuz they live by us and asked if they would call when the plow trucks came by. after 30 minutes it was apparent they werent coming. So I called my aunt and they offered to give us a bump up the hill. We got about 2 foot from the driveway and again we started almost turning and sliding down the hill! Then we got 2 bumps and 1 more that guided us in the driveway! A sigh of relief from the four of us in the car. A special sigh of relief from mema and I as our wheelchairs do not have snow tires!
