So that 2,500 year old Hippocratic oath all doctors have to recite - TopicsExpress

So that 2,500 year old Hippocratic oath all doctors have to recite upon graduation? The one that is supposed to guarantee medical ethics and prevent doctors from letting their prejudices influence their treatment? Seems one medical school decided to remove the clause I will never let religion, nationality, race, political ideology or social class come between my duty and my patient and instead added the clause I vow in the presence of Allah... I cant really blame them though... what with the government trying for 6 years apiece doctors who treat non-violent anti-government protesters, its simply bad form to assume all humans are equal in the eyes of medicine. Plus those doctors were simply wasting medical resources on non-people when they could have been used to treat those nice, honorable folks in ISIS instead (which our southern hospitals are doing free of charge).
