So the FIA reckon that Jules Bianchis accident in Japan was down - TopicsExpress

So the FIA reckon that Jules Bianchis accident in Japan was down to the driver not slowing down sufficiently at the area of the Adrian Sutil accident. Having seen a clip of the accident when it happened, the ruling does not seem to make any sense. Firstly, why was Sutils car being removed by a digger under waved yellow flags - surely the Safety Car should have been deployed THEN the digger comes out to remove the car??? Secondly, if you look at the clip, you can see clearly that at the start, the marshall in the tower 12 is waving 2 yellow flags, yet just over a minute later, he is waving a single GREEN flag!! A green flag means that the incident is cleared which obviously it wasnt!!! The drivers would then start racing again. He continues to wave the single green flag for over a minute after Bianchis car hit the digger - he only stopped when another marshall climbed the tower and put out the Safety car board. Personally, I believe this report is just a fudge to cover up the FIA and race director Charlie Whitings cock-up!! The marshall would have been acting on Mr Whitings instructions, so to blame the driver (who cannot defend himself at the moment, or indeed will never will be able to, due to suffering severe head injuries) is just chickening out! The people to blame are Charlie Whiting, the marshalls under his control and the FIA for organising the cover-up!!!
