So, the Mrs birthday is this Sunday. Several months ago in conversation he mentioned that he wished he had this certain item. I stowed this info away in my memory bank. Brand new this certain model is 350.00. I have been watching the paper, craigs list, garage sales. I came across a yard sale listed for today and tomorrow in boise. It stated they had sold the cabin and were getting rid of some things. One thing happened to be EXACTLY what the Mr mentioned that he wished he had. So I head over this morning, there at 9:25 am, sale starts at 10. it is in back yard and gate is shut. Promptly at 10 they open gates. I head in and spot my treasure, just as I am bending down to pick it up, this little old lady breezes past me and virtually removes it from my grip!!! I stood there with my mouth hanging open, speechless, in total amazement. I couldnt even utter excuse me! I was heart broken. I had spied the price being asked for it and was so excited, before it was scooped right out from under me. It was a CONSIDERABLE savings. It had been used once, this particular brand is Highly recommended. Still standing there in total amazement and shock. She looked at me and said, well I asked her 1st about it. I said, I did to. She said, I didnt see you do that. Anyway, long story short, they decided they didnt want it after all. and I GOT it for the Mrs birthday. I am so excited and thankful. I had prayed that the Lord would help me to find this item before his birthday arrived and even tho it looked I wasnt going to get it, HE came thru for me. I am so thankful. Now, we will see what the Mr thinks, if he even remembers this is something he mentioned that he wished he had.....and will post what that something is and if he liked it at a later date.......Happy Day FB.
