So the Mt Fuji trip was...interesting. Basically everything that could have gone wrong, did. First, most of the people couldnt buy their discounted fare tickets because apparently they dont sell them for the same day. THEN we had to run around the Chuo Line stations because I apparently dont know my Limited Express trains from my Special Rapid trains. We get to the mountain and apparently, the equipment rental place is closed, so most of us were pretty unprepared for the weather/terrain. Then we hike for 8 hours to the summit, which was actually really tough. Tougher than I expected, especially since Im exercise-challenged. We get separated on the mountain, with no way to contact each other, thanks to my walkie-talkie batteries being dead... But the view was spectacular. I felt like how astronauts must feel when they look down at the earth.
