So, the advert I never thought I would be writing..... 1994 Honda NSR250R MC28SE for sale. A classic and the only MC28 over here as far as I am aware, imported from the UK in 2008 by me. It is the SE (super edition) model so has dry clutch and adjustable suspension. Spec: Wire splice mod done Tyga GP pipes HRC Jets Airbox mod done Tyga Carbon reeds and stuffers HRC 010 ignition card Basically this setup takes it from the stock 45BHP to 63BHP, this bike was setup in the UK in late 2012 by Stephen Alee of GT Peformance in Plymouth, if you know NSRs you will know Stephen is the only guy to set them up. The bike had a new top end fitted just before I imported it and I fitted a vapour speedo to it (as HRC card negates standard speedo) and since 2008 it has done approx 2000 miles. I have fitted a new dry clutch, brake pads, tyres, forks rebuilt with new seals, oil and dust covers by Steve Jeanne. Spares: Rothmans fairing (never fitted) and tank (tank needs stripping and painting to match fairing). HRC Jet kit (rare and expensive) Standard full system pipes and ignition card A box of bits, seals, piston, cable etc. Full manual in English (rare and expensive as only is Japanese usually) Only ever run on Castrol Power1 2 stroke oil and super unleaded, always warmed up. This actual bike was reviewed in Fast Bikes Mag last year and was scored 9/10 by the journos. Offers around £5375 - look around and see if you can find one this good for the money. If you are looking for a showroom ornament then maybe this is not the bike for you, it has a few marks etc as a 20 year old bike does but in very good condition and wouldnt take much to get mint, i.e. fit Rothmans fairing. It rides perfectly and at 63BHP is one of the strongest MC28s in the UK without any porting or blueprinting etc, it is very well setup and I have dyno charts to prove it.
