So the long awaited national deadlifts on our home turf of FrenchVanoli took place yesterday and what an amazing event it was. The standard of lifting was fantastic especially the noticeable increase in weight being lifted by the females across all categories, strong women getting stronger. I am particularly proud though of my two co lifters and sisters in all ways expect DNA 😄 we all took 1st place in our categories. 3 golds!!! Aisling 150kg a 10kg comp PB and Olivia 180kg a 20kg comp PB. These two birds never fail to amaze me. I pulled 190kg and went for the 200 but missed it, not to worry Ill get it next time. Big thanks to all who participated you all did amazing!! Be very proud of yourselves.Massive thanks to those who continue to support us. All our family, friends and CrossFit Galway crew who turned up to cheer us on. Not going tagging all ye feckers, you know who you are. So roll on Europeans in September...we are coming for ya!
