So, the new high-end restaurant, Baileys, has closed down after 10 months in business. Other than the fact that a friend of ours, a single mom, is now out of a job, Im glad to see it go. I really havent heard too many good things about it since it opened, and Loni & I only ate there once, which was enough for us. Factor in their high prices, the monthly rent it costs to maintain a business in that location ($10,000.00), and the fact that roughly 80% of this towns population couldnt afford to eat there, Im surprised it lasted as long as it did. Bring in an IHOP, Olive Garden, Red Robin, Famous Daves, or anything else that people can actually afford and it just might survive.
