So the results are in - Metascore is 16, Rotten Tomatoes is 20, IMDB gives it a 4.7 out of 10, and the common consensus is that its so bad even most members of the target audience call it a complete disaster - the scores are only that high because a few members of the target audience are trying to flood the review sites. Gods Not Dead - a movie so bad that even most Christians are begging people not to watch it. And I wouldnt mind the hackneyed arguments that didnt work decades ago let alone now if the movie itself was still enjoyable but apparently they put so much effort into the crappy arguing that they forgot to put any real effort into the presentation. Every non-Christian character is a shallow stereotype, the theology is bad, and as one Christian reviewer put it it actually made them doubt the existence of a Just God. So out of respect for my religious friends and family, and out of respect for the enjoyable career that was once Kevin Sorbos, lets just pretend it never happened. K?
