So, these are on sale right now for 25% off already-reduced price, but still (A) not cheap and (B) probably too small (size 9 is sold out and Kate Spades run small on my 8.5-to-9 feet). Someone please tell me I do not need these and can hack-mod something similar (and possibly even more fabulous)? I mean, Im not gonna buy them. I have school this year and an art project to pull out of my ass, so Ye Olde Budgete be tight. I just need a little external validation that my decision to not get these is the right thing. Last time I loved a bold, graphic mule, it sold out from under me and disappeared into the ether forever and I have wistfully thought of them regularly since 1999. Do not want these to be yet another White Whale! (Props to the lovely, kickass Natasha for finding these!)
