So these states that wont expand medicaid see the problem as being related to their not having revenues to sustain social programs. These are the states that dont think industry, business, should pay taxes because they will create jobs and the state will thrive. The businesses dont think they should pay workers living wages because they wont maximize their profits so no taxes come from the working population since they have to sustain themselves on federal offsets, that have become a business entitlement program for cheap labor. These are states that have the highest rates of poverty, educational non-success, and on and on. Since they dont have revenues and they barely pay federal taxes as most of their working population is fairly poor, the working poor. AND, they get substantially more federal money in a year than they can pay. Time to stop living off the largess of people you dont even think are Americans because they believe in a doctrine that is quite like the one you claim to follow. They may be athiests or agnostics or have a religion but they believe in something like Jesus doctrine that you care for all. How does this work? We blue state folks are tired of supporting yall.
