So....this afternoon I pulled up to the gas pump at Meijer. The lady on the other side of the pump is sitting in her car-windows open-puffing on a cigarette!! We get out of our cars about the same time..she takes a couple quick puffs and then just flicks the cig away. Now just about every pump there was in use. I tell her you cant be smoking while pumping gas. She kind of smirks and shrugs her shoulders and stops right in front of me. I tell her there are no smoking signs all over. She tells me what she does is none of my business. I tell her when she risks blowing me and everyone else up it is my business. She tells me to get off her back, she did nothing wrong and shell do what she pleases. I again tell her you dont smoke around gasoline putting everyone at risk, including herself. By this time we are inside the station and I say to the clerk am I right? He let this lady have it and told her there are no smoking signs all over. She keeps rolling her eyes as he tells her over and over no smoking while pumping gas. Now I will admit during our confrontation I did call her a name. That was her biggest beef..She didnt appreciate my speaking to her like that..I told her if she hadnt put everyone at risk I wouldnt have said anything. By the way this lady was in her early 40s..not a kid. What a dumb shit!
