So, this happened. As Im grabbing gear from my car for open mic last night a guy stares from the sidewalk and says, If I had the guts, Id ask you out. ...Heres a tip: Next time you see a female youd like to ask out carrying her body weight in gear off every limb of her body, opening and closing doors by herself, etc. - maybe offer to carry something (or even just hold a door open!) if youd really like to ask her out rather than staring at her like a huge creep. Shocking idea. I know. #chivalryisdead PS. Ladies, this can work both ways. Next time you see a guy who needs a hand and wish you had the guts to ask HIM out - offer to carry something. Hell probably propose. PPS. Sometimes were weird and like to carry our own shit. Even then - just the THOUGHT to help or hold a door is appreciated - even if you dont want to ask us out!! Nice people rule!!
