So, this happened today: I was walking towards Rajouri Garden metro station today with 2 of my friends when I saw an old couple stranded on the side of the road with a punctured tire. It just seemed wrong to pass by without helping them out. They really looked like they needed our help. The Uncle actually asked us to help him lift the car tire by rotating the screw on the jack. None of us had ever changed a car tire before and we offered to call a mechanic. However, Uncle was hesitant. So, we decided to do it on our own. It took us around 15-20 minutes, some teamwork, a lot of strength and some jugaad, but we finally did it. It felt really good to help the old couple. For this, I am extremely grateful to Karan Sachdeva and Shivaz Sharma for sharing my zeal to help them. All of us contributed equally. What is the purpose of our existence, if not to help other people when they need help? Theres no happiness like the one experienced when our existence actually makes a positive difference in the life of other people.
