So this is a story for some of my pony characters. This is in a human AU (alternate universe), because I cant write full-on pony things just yet. Theres been a lot of ideas running through my mind for Princess Sunlight and Misty, that I finally started writing it. Heres a bit of an extended preview! ------- Sunlight sat in her room, sighing. Being a princess was hard. She hadnt even become a princess like her mother yet! Nor would she, as she would only become one if anything happened to the other. She stared out her window, wishing she could be like all the others. She didnt care if she could use magic or not, she didnt care if she had what she did here, she just wanted a taste of the outside world. The world the other people lived in. She wanted to be part of that. Everyone treats me like Im nothing here.. She muttered. Her hair was messy and usually hard to get flat. She didnt bother to try most of the time. Youd think shed try for the special events, but she prefered staying out of them. Some of the people there were stuck up and snobby. People she hated. --- About a week later, a person from a villiage came to the castle to speak with the princesses. Well, Sunlights mother and her mothers sister. Slowly, the young princess snuck down the stairs just enough to watch the conversation. You see, my friends and I.. The girl said. She appeared to be around the same age as Sunlight. Anything that was spoken after that was lost from Sunlights hearing. She focused only on the details of her face, her clothes.. everything. That girl looked.. different. Like someone she wanted to be. The young royal tripped over her own feet as she tried to get a better view, causing the others to look directly at her. Misty, the girl who had come to speak, almost instantly rushed over to help her. Reaching out a hand, she asked, Are you okay? Youre not injured or anything, right? Oh, was this a change.. Shakily, Sunlight nodded and took her hand, wobbling a little as she got back up onto her feet. S-Sorry.. She said quietly. No one had ever really.. done that for her. Its fine, dont worry about it. You are..? The princess fiddled with her fingers a bit as she was asked her name. P-Princess Sunlight.. Y-Youre a princess? O-Oh! I-I didnt know! Misty stammered, quickly bowing before the other. Thats n-not needed.. Sunlight hung her head, still messing with her fingers. Misty Midnight But youre royalty, a princess deserves to be treated like such, dont you think? She shook her head. Ive never truly been treated like royalty, so I wouldnt know.. Misty took a glance back at Celestia, the girls mother. Not even by Princess Celestia? Your mother? Sun shrugged. Its kind of complicated..
