So, this is how the political parties are campaigning in Delhi for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) elections - 1. They are constantly irritating us on the radio with jingles longer than songs, ads & RJ talk put together >:( 2. They are bombarding us with numerous SMSs & pre-recorded voice calls where instead of talking about any issue, they are slinging mud on their opponents >:( 3. They are pasting stickers of their candidates on our vehicles & even in public-transportation >:( 4. They are blasting our ear-drums as auto-rickshaws & cycle-rickshaws pass through our colonies all day, playing their respective partys anthems on full volume >:( (Daler Mehndi - Congress, Kailash Kher - AAP & Second Rate Remixes - BJP, since no popular singer alive wants to lose his/her secular credentials by being associated with Feku, except for the old fossil Lata Mangeshkar :P ). 5. Hell, they are even knocking our doors/ringing our doorbells, begging for our votes (two young AAP workers & the BJP candidate himself landed on my doorstep few days ago, at different time of course) All these reasons are more than enough for me to choose NOTA (None of the Above) on Election Day >:( #disgruntled #delhielections #nota P.S - I aint one of those Apolitical Philistines. You want to know where I stand politically? Without mincing any words & without any shame, Im a Congress guy of the Nehru-Shastri era. Its in my blood. Dadaji was an active Congress worker, right from the independence struggle days in the 1930s to his untimely demise in 1965. Unfortunately, Congress actually died after Lal Bahadur Shastrijis mysterious death. Ever since, the vile & despotic Indira took over and it became the corrupt & depraved Gandhi Family Party with their equally corrupt & depraved sycophants. With a Right-Wing demagogue as the fast rising alternative, Nitish Kumar (JDU - Bihar) & Naveen Patnaik (BJD - Odisha) are the only rays of hope that I see today. Ill lose all hope if either of them goes into an alliance with the despicable UPA after next years Lok Sabha (parliamentary) election results get declared.
