So this is why I believe in ghosts: Tonight was a rough night with aerilyn, shes been very cranky today probably teething or a growth spurt. But she cried and cried after our normal routine and so I went up to rock her to sleep. She was in my lap calm but awake and she raised her little hand into the air and pointed at the ceiling. Then she waved. There was nothing up there that I could see, and Ive only ever seen her wave to people or cartoons on TV. I asked the ghost to let her sleep and that while we appreciate them checking in on us, that it is bed time and that they could come back later. Aerilyns eyes followed whatever it was to the door and then she started crying again. I know all those things could be attributed to anything else at all, but Ive always believed that children can see spirits and I believe that when aerilyn is waving at the ceiling she is waving at one of her great grandpas.
