So this weekend sees the start of another season for the girls/ladies football teams of Bishops Stortford. This is the first season in over 12 years that I wont be managing/coaching a team and the first for a while that my daughter & step-daughter wont be involved either. I would like to wish good luck to all the girls/ladies/teams Ive been involved with over the years and hope you all have an enjoyable season. I still cant quite leave it totally however, as I will be helping Hana Currey with managing her new Under 15 girls team tomorrow! The best of luck Han (and Sarah Razle Irons) - I know its been an interesting period getting to where you are now, but Im sure youll enjoy the experience! After so many years involved, I can assure you that the good times far outweigh the bad ones and even if you lose by a hat full at any time, the important thing is to learn from the experience and put it in the memory bank with all the others!! So, enjoy your seasons my lovely friends and I look forward to seeing you all soon
