So to all my amazing fellow hairstylists in Fb land... I was conversing with someone who didnt want to here my behind the chair stories. This person said they are just people that get there hair cut by you. (I need to say I mean no disrespect to this person and Im not putting them on blast, its just that they do not comprehend the endless reasons why my clients are much more than just someones hair I cut. Not to mention color, perm, style and accommodate any of there hair needs.)I could write a book right now about the amazing job I have and the family I have gained over the years otherwise known as clients. And the amazing stylists that have become sisters and brothers to me. I ask you stylists out there to please share the connection we have with these peoples who hair we cut. I would also love to hear some of your memories that we shared together, good and bad. And any of you that have sat in my chair, share a memory as well.of Many of you who have worked beside me know my passion and love for my clients I call family and how I intend to write a book someday of amazing, hysterical, heartbreaking, touching and crazy stories Ive heard and witnessed, and wisdom Ive gained from standing behind the chair. I am proud to be a stylist and after 23 years of doing what I do, I wouldnt change it for anything in the world. If I have tagged you in this post it is because you all all part of something so amazing, whether you are behind the chair or sitting in it. If you are one that has sat in mine ... I thank you for the trust you have given me, not only to be your stylist but to be your friend and often to be a part of your life as if I was part of your family. You truly all became part of mine. If I forgot anyone, I apologize. .
