So, to get back to the first part of my story, I give to a charity that helps people all over the world. To give a clue as to which one it is, here is clue #1) They are a Christian show that comes on everyday. Clue #2) The show is one hour long. Clue #3) The main speaker is a man. Clue #4) His first name begins with a P. Clue #5) His last name begins with an R. So, I have been giving donations for years & years. They help individuals in other countries. That Is fine with me. I believe we are all equal, God loves us all equally. We are suspossed to help one another, that is the Christian way to be. I have watched this show & this Christian organization helps individual people. I have watched where they showed they bought a man a boat. Not a real big boat. A small one. His main source of income was catching & selling fish. His boat got stolen. This Christian organization bought him a new one & a chain & lock, so it would not get stolen. That Is wonderful. I was happy. Another time they showed that they give operations for children with cleft lip pallets. I am over come with happiness & joy. Thank the Lord my money is going to such wonderful causes. Then I get all happy when I see that people get goats, cows, clothes to open their own businesses. I am overcome with joy that I am all a part of the wonderful things they do for people every day. Clean running water where people dont have water. Schools being built. It just goes on & on, the most wonderful things they are constantly doing. UNTIL MY FAMILY MEMBER NEEDED HELP WITH A MEDICAL SITUATION.!!! I called & did not mention their name told them my family member needed a medical supply that I knew was a lot cheaper than that damned boat they bought for the fisherman. We dont help individuals, I was told. I said, you can give the money for the neccessary medical thing to the doctor. No, I am sorry, we cant help invidual people. Well that fishermen as an individual, those children that got an operation are an individual, the people who got a damn cow, chickens are individuals. So my family member is not an individual. I got turned down, I got no damned help. I called the Better Business Bureau & you have to punch in the 10 digit phone number of the place you want checked out. They did not have that number in their system. Well, I will call back & talk to a live person next time I call. They might have them listed under another number maybe. I will get this place investigated. I was at first shocked & was speechless. Then I was upset. Then I got pissed-off. I will never give them a damned dime of my money ever again. I dont think that I even trust any charity now, to tell you the truth. I doubt very much that I will give a dime to any charity. Even tho this Christian charity refuses to help my relative, you better believe I will help them. They will get the medically necessary thing the child needs. That charity will never get any of my money ever again. Thank you Christian charity for not helping me. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau to check you out. You definitely will be investigated. If you are not legit, I will be suing to get every last dime I have ever given you. I have all my receipts. Thanks again for not being there for me.
