So today is Good Friday! If youre a Christian, then Im certain you know the significance of this day. The name may seem a bit counter-intuitive to some since its often viewed as a solemn day. So you may ask, Why is it called Good Friday? Well I think its called Good Friday because its significant of ALL the good that came from the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Christ. I mean...think about it....isnt it a GOOD thing that we had someone that suffered in our place? Do you know anyone that would do that for you today? :) Isnt it a GOOD thing that we had someone that asked for our forgiveness because we didnt sense enough to do it on our own?? Who does that? :) Isnt it GOOD that someone looks past our faults and sees our needs? Where they do that at? :) So today is Good Friday and while we can NEVER do anything as Good as what Christ has done for us...what is YOUR version of Good? What Good will you do today...and everyday? (Good: morally excellent; virtuous; righteous; pious) Genesis 1:31: God saw all that he had made, and it was very good..... Yes, my good people...that is all. Carry on...and have a GOOOOD Friday!
