So... today started out like a typical day, but was anything but that... twice I was randomly engaged into deep conversations by complete strangers who were both at an extremely low place and seeking guidance.one was at a gas station in davis, the other was at a park in fair oaks.. not sure why they felt comfortable just openly telling me their troubles, like I was a councilor or therapists. like somehow they knew I wouldnt judge them and take the time to just sit down and help them make sense of life... But that was nothing to what happened later.. after my errands I went to the river. I was swimming in the rapids as I usually do, after a few hours of swimming i was just relaxing under a waterfall and I heard a little kid screaming. I stood up and looked over a the falls and saw a small child go under the water into the bubbles. Some how I reached into the oncoming current and grabbed her. I pulled her out of the waves and she was coughing and crying. no parent in sight, this little 4/5 year old little girl with out a life jacket somehow floated right to me in time to save her life...
