So... today the mailman (NO not cute) came to my door and had a regestered letter for me to sign. It is from NBMC and my ( HCP) Health Care Provider telling me that she has formally discharged me from her practice. No explanation. No administrative meeting to defend myself. I just have to find a new Doctor, that will take new patients and medicare... which will be VERY hard in this small town. Her medical assistant likes to diagnose me over the phone and make the decision on my well being without talking to my HCP and will not give my HCP the msgs to call me. So.... my HCP decided to discharge my care over firing her medical assistant, who by the way, does not have a certificate and is not a nurse. And my HCP told me that the medical assistant was in the wrong. So........... now I have vented. I am totally pissed off and I want answers and an explanation how a Nurse Practitioner can give up on a patient and feel good about herself. I thought they took an oath! I thought they were supposed to put patient care before a their office help? My God, I think I have enough on my plate right now. I know it will get better and God will give me an evern better Physician. I am just Fn pissed! :(
