So today woke up early cause of the heat and some pigeons coo-ing, went downstairs and had a nice long chat with Jane, they took me to a local attraction called Red House Farm, while they say all roads lead to Rome, locally in Altrincham, Dunham Massey etc all roads lead to Red House Farm, its an interesting name as all houses in area are red bricked. had a nice peri peri chicken salad and chips, and a ginger cordial. Went back to finish getting things ready, and said my farewells, I hate farewells as Jane and K@ are 2 of the nicest people you can image, so friendly. Got on my train, was soo stuffy and windows wouldnt open, got into Manchester and found my train to Preston, train was packed but I was soo happy I had a seat, some people gave daggers when I was getting my free food and drink, Got of the train in Prestson and found out that the 1632 train to Glasgow Central was now due at 1658 and the 1653 train to glasgow (my train) was due at 1700, everyone jumped on the first train but I waited for the one I had a seat on, had the whole first class carriage to myself! Got into Falkirk and met Colin, went to spoons where I met Clappy, Stuart and Stuart, then Stevie joined us to celebrate my return. Weekend overall was great, so much fun, and was prob one of the best trips I have had to Manchester! A bog thank you to Jane, K@ and the boozers!
