So tonight Evan woke me up at around 230 by climbing into our bed. So I decided to get up and go outside to see this so called meteorite shower. So I walk out into the cold in my underwear to see what all the hype is about. No.... I was in the backyard. So Im standing in my backyard staring into the sky waiting to see the light show for about 2-3 minutes when I had my 1st experience ever of being scared so bad that I pee on myself. Yes!!! I am admitting it to the world that a bit came out. So here is what happened. Im standing in the backyard and notice I left the garage door open. No big deal ... I will shut it when I go back in. But first I must see this light show that I have been hearing so much about on facebook all day. So I start staring into the sky. At just about 2 minutes I notice something out of the corner of my eye running from the treeline outside of my opened garage door. It was fast and seemed to be running towards me. No big deal as it is probably a cat. But as I started to stare into the darkness this thing started to run extremely fast towards me as I am standing still. It runs thru the open garage door and right past my leg. It was the largest bobcat that I have ever seen alive. Granted, it was my first live bobcat that I have ever seen..... but it was effin BIG! He ran past me as if he did not notice me and jumped the fence in my backyard towards the large pond behind me. Not sure I was ready for that moment in my life as a million things started to run thru my head during the milliseconds that transpired (one of those thoughts was ... how is this going to look to the e.m.s. guys when they find me in the backyard covered in blood in nothing but my underwear.... poor e.m s. Guys! That would have been an awful site). Needless to say.... I was not eaten by the worlds largest bobcat AND I peed on myself. Not alot of pee.... but just enough to make it a bit uncomfortable :). And NO I did not see any meteorites. So what is the moral of this story you may ask? Not sure if there is one. But I can officially say that I was almost eaten by the worlds largest bobcat and had to change my underwear at 3 a.m.
