So tonight, I had gone back to UCM to a back to school dance that my friends wanted to go to, and I stayed out a little later than I shouldve but just in time so that I could catch the last bus home. However, the bus didnt come.. 1AM came and a bus appeared, but it wasnt my bus.. The bus driver said that he could drop me off at a stop around my area and I could walk home. So I had no choice but to get on the bus. As the car ride went on, we had some conversations here and there until I figured out that he was Hmong and told him I was also Hmong. We started the usual Hmong talk and such and he gave me tips on going on the buses and he gave me a tour of the route he drove. As it got closer to my area, he proposed that since Im new to town and I was the only person left on the bus, hed drop me off across from my apartment, and so he did. Im so thankful to God because I was praying to Him, while waiting for my bus, to get home safely, and I did. Just thought Id share (:
