So tonight after our great candy grab (thanks again Anna ) we went to dinner with memaw and aunt Amanda . While sitting there enjoying our burritos, I received a call. Dr. Garland (one of our favorite doctors) called us with Addys biopsy and spinal tap results. They were negative. No cancer, not even the on the one that tests down to the .010 level!!!! Addy is officially in remission after one round of chemo!!! Now that doesnt mean we stop treatment. This just means we are officially low risk AML, and the treatment plan moves to a less harsh chemo regimen. She will have to endure a total of four rounds of chemo, and then move on to a maintenance phase of about 2 years. But this does mean that the likelihood of a bone marrow transplant is pulled off the table. :) I once again cannot put into words how excited, proud, ecstatic, heart warmed, thankful, blessed, appreciative....and on and on I am!!! Thank you God from the bottom of my heart, thank you everyone for the love and support!!!! I pray for the continued hand of The Lord on us to help Addy fight these next rounds of chemo and do just as well!!! Its time to celebrate and and truly enjoy my time with my baby girl!!!! I love you all and once again thank you sooooooo much!!!!!
